GEN A LIMITED ("we", "us", and/or "our") operates the Otona.ai mobile and web applications, including www.otona.ai (the "Apps" or the "Website"), and other related services (collectively, the "Services"). Otona.ai is designed for adult users globally, with a primary focus on the Vietnamese market and multilingual support across Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and share your information through our Services. We will never disclose the content of your reading history or story choices for marketing or advertising purposes.

1.1 Information You Provide

Account Information

When you register via Google, Apple, or Telegram, we receive your name, email address, or unique user identifiers depending on your privacy settings.

Profile Information

Date of birth, display name, preferred language, and other basic profile details upon registration.

Reading & Interaction Data

Story progress, in-story choices, genres and characters you engage with, and content you bookmark or favourite.

Subscription & Payment

Transaction history, subscription tier, renewal dates, payment method info (via secure payment providers), and Fate Stone balance.

Mission & Gamification

Daily mission participation, reading streaks, unlocked achievements, and earned or spent Fate Stones.

Preferences

Preferred display language, content preferences, and notification settings.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Device & Network Data — Operating system, device model, browser type, IP address, device identifiers, language settings, mobile carrier, and general geographic location (city or region)
  • Usage Data — Navigation patterns, session duration, pages and screens visited, buttons and links interacted with, and notification engagement rates
  • Content Engagement Metrics — Chapter read timestamps, completion rates, story and genre patterns, Fate Stone spending patterns, and mission completion activity

Use by Minors

The Services are intended exclusively for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate the account, delete all associated data and reading history, and process refunds for any active subscriptions as an exception to our no-refund policy.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has created an account should contact us at support@gena.studio immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document and notify you via email, in-app notification, or prominent notice on the platform.
